About Me

I am a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and one of Bangalore’s dedicated pediatric speech therapists, specialising in helping children overcome speech delays, language disorders, and communication challenges associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

With over 3 years of hands-on clinical experience, I follow a child-first, evidence-based approach in every session. I offer both individualised and group speech therapy for children in Bangalore, carefully tailoring each therapy plan to match each child’s unique developmental pace.

I strongly believe that early intervention in speech and language therapy can make a transformative difference in a child’s life. I work closely with parents and caregivers, equipping them with practical strategies to reinforce progress at home — making therapy a continuous journey, not just limited to clinic sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. At what age should I consult a pediatric speech therapist in Bangalore?

Early signs of speech delay can appear as early as 12–18 months. If your child is not babbling, pointing, or using simple words by 18 months, it is advisable to consult a speech-language pathologist. Early intervention leads to significantly better outcomes.

2. Does Archana M.K provide speech therapy for children with autism?

Yes. Archana specialises in communication therapy for children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), focusing on both verbal and non-verbal communication skills through structured, play-based approaches.

3. What is the difference between speech delay and language delay?

Speech delay refers to difficulty producing sounds or words clearly, while language delay involves challenges in understanding or expressing ideas. A child can have one or both, and a speech-language pathologist can assess and treat each condition individually.

4. Are therapy sessions available in Kannada or Malayalam?

Yes. Archana is fluent in English, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil — making her accessible to a wide range of families across Bangalore.

5. How long does speech therapy take to show results?

Progress depends on the severity of the condition, the child's age, and the consistency of home practice. Most children show measurable improvement within 8–12 weeks of regular sessions. Archana also provides parents with home strategies to reinforce progress between visits.
